For home builders, we offer custom shower and tub enclosures with both standard shower doors and custom, heavy glass enclosures which can be used for steamrooms if desired and curbless enclosures for easy wheel chair access.
Coastal Glass also specializes in custom mirror work for homes, restaurants, gyms and bars as well as numerous other applications.
We take great pride in our ability to work with contractors and customers in order to insure the product meets the need and/or any time restraints there might be on the project.
For the commercial builder, we sell and install many types of storefront systems by various manufacturers. Storefront systems can be thermally broken with high performance glass to meet any LEED project requirements.
Locally,we have been very fortunate to be able to contribute to projects such as the recent Kohl's remodel. When Redwood Credit Union constructed their new location in Arcata, Coastal Glass was the glazing contractor chosen to provide and install the ADA entry, the International Windows and the interior glass at the offices and mirrors in the bathrooms.
We have contributed to projects at Humboldt State University, such as the new gymnasium, where we installed a Trespa Panel System in conjunction with the storefront.
Panel systems of aluminum or composite materials, while having been common place in the Bay Area, are relatively new to Humboldt County. Coastal Glass is the only local company authorized and qualified to supply and install these types of panel systems. These systems are common in schools, hospitals, auto dealers and other commercial sites.
